Bahia Ballena Beach Cleanup

On November 14, 2025, Uvita Christian Academy partnered with Dophin Tours, Asociacion Ambiciosas, SINAC, and The Omega Task to clean up the beach and be a blessing to the community. We gathered as a school at Dolphin Tours, received an inservice about harmful plastics and other trash, walked to the beach to pick up garbage, and returned with 25 kilograms to be sorted and examined. Older students were paired with younger students not only looking for trash, but also scannning for hazards while watching out for their little buddy. We enjoyed fruits and snacks once everyone removed gloves and washed hands thoroughly. UCA students learned valuable lessons regarding sustainability, cleanliness of the beach helping the environment, and teamwork partnering with other ministries and organizations.
